The Burkina Faso Woodless Construction Team

The DW Woodless Construction team in Burkina Faso is managed by Arsène Tuina, supported by a team of full time trained technicians and rural animators, and a large group of Woodless Construction trainers and supervisors. During the dry season, over 100 people are involved in training and technical support to builders and partners.
DW has the capacity to operate on a regional wide basis, with a network of masons trained in Mali, Niger and Mauritania as well as Burkina Faso.
There are some 400 DW trained builders in Burkina Faso, responding to an ever increasing demand for their skills. DW assists builders with the provision of plans if needed, and on more complex jobs will provide technical supervision.
