Development Workshop France – DWF- is a registered not
for profit association based in France, with principle activities in Africa
and Asia.
DWF is a capacity building and action–research organisation involved in the
development and implementation of programmes. DWF works to develop local
capacities to improve living conditions in developing and threatened
communities.
DWF activities focus on vulnerability reduction and the resolution of
human settlement difficulties that result from wide ranging changes to the
way we live, whether climatic and environmental, socio economic and
demographic or as a result of man-made and natural disasters and war.

Bienvenue
Development Workshop France – Fondée en Angleterre en
1973 et ensuite basée en Iran jusqu’en 1979, DW avait dès sa création
l’objectif d’améliorer les conditions de vie des habitants des communautés
défavorisées.
Les membres fondateurs restent au cœur de DW, mais le groupe a évolué
pour tenir compte de sa diversité géographique et des contextes régionaux.
Aujourd’hui, DW comprend plusieurs organisations autonomes (DW
France (DWF), DW
Angola, DW Canada,
DW Burkina Faso) chacune avec leur propre statut et leurs propres
actions, mais partageant toujours leurs compétences et fidèle à une
philosophie de travail en commun.
