Habitat Award for the promotion of Woodless
Construction in the Sahel.
Woodless Construction received the UN Scroll of Honour in 1992 and was listed
by UNCHS / Dubai as “good practice” in 2001.
Water and sanitation in Angola
DW Angola’s community based water and sanitation programme in Luanda,
Angola has also been recognised as a UN “Best Practice” programme.
