Concerts and other events make people aware of the prevention message. Every
form of media and handout are used to get the message across.
Demonstrating
it
The project assess existing homes and public buildings, and works with families
to show how their homes can be strengthened.
Supporting
it
The project develops Commune Damage Prevention Committees to manage activities
now and in the future.
Training
for it
Training helps village builders, and commune leaders to improve skills and understanding
of preventive strengthening.
Credit
DW helps put in place credit systems for house strengthening, making
it easier for poorer families to access finance. Each beneficiary family's needs
are assessed
